Change of Board of Directors/Shareholders
Change of Board of Directors/Shareholders
(Description / Services)
Director changes must be submitted to CIPC and can be submitted directly through InfoDocs. Appointing a new director or dismissing an existing director requires submitting a change or amendment of director (COR39) to the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) and preparing the relevant supporting documents. New directors may be elected by the Board of Directors when a vacancy exists or the company wishes to add directors. Vacancies on the Board of Directors arise if a director: resigns or dies. A change of directorship of a company is possible at any time and whenever necessary. The change can be voluntary or on demand. The demand arises in the event of a request for an expert on the board or due to the resignation or death of an existing director.
